I heard this today on one of his sermons and it just hit me and made such sense I had to share it. I was faced on Monday with a challenge that I had not yet had in my life and I contemplated nothing fulfilling something that I needed to do. I prayed on it and had a whole day to think of what I should do. This morning I did what I was suppose to do. But now I understand why my “blessing” was so challenging and how I almost gave it up because I am sure Satan sees me clearly from it.
So I wanted to share that if you feel challenge God will get you thru it.

So I have almost finished my first substitute teacher assignment. It ends this Friday. It is at the school where I performed my student teaching hours and I was so thrilled when they called on Monday morning asking me to come in for the week.
Yesterday, I was walking the kids to the bus stop and the thought that kept racing in my mind back and forth or in circles for the race fans out there….”I love doing this.” I can’t believe they pay me to do this. It was such a joy to hear my heart, mind and soul speak that to me because even I had a tiny amount of doubt in me that maybe I chose the wrong profession.
But I have not! I am so filled with joy that I know this has come from Jesus! I am sitting on my conference hour waiting for it to be over when the kids will return from Art class and I love being here in this place. I look forward to waking up and coming here to be a teacher.
One last thought….find your joy! Whatever it is….the Lord will help you make it come to pass. Joy is such a unique feeling that no drink, drug or recreation can create it…only thru following the path Christ has in store for you.
